The Dignity Assurance Act · Enacted 2038

Every family deserves a partner in the hardest decisions.

The Dignity Commission supports Americans and their Compassion Companions through every stage of the journey — with clarity, with compassion, and with care that lasts a lifetime.

A Partnership in Dignity™

A partnership, from the first day forward

When a loved one reaches seventy-five, they are welcomed into the program and matched with a Compassion Companion — someone close enough to care, and steady enough to decide. Here is how the Commission walks beside you.

Assignment

At activation, the Commission designates a Compassion Companion — chosen, by design, for the clarity that comes with marriage rather than blood. They receive a secure sixteen-digit code and access to the Companion Portal.

Assessment

Every six months, a brief, AI-scored Clarity Review measures wellbeing across twelve cognitive axes. Periodic in-person Clarity Assessments confirm the results with a trained observer. Routine. Gentle. Twenty minutes.

Assurance

Should the time come, your Companion is never alone. The Commission provides guidance, counseling, and a ninety-day Grace Period so that every family can move forward with dignity, together.

Why the program exists

For the first time in human history, we are living far longer than our systems were built to sustain. The Dignity Assurance Act is our shared answer.

Axes of clarity

Social Security concluded in 2034. Medicare reached insolvency in 2036. The Dignity Assurance Act followed in 2038 — “a difficult but necessary step toward a more humane and sustainable society.” The Commission exists to make that step a gentle one.

Wondering what the assessment feels like?

Companions and families are welcome to try our self-administered practice screening. It mirrors the real experience across all twelve axes — the number sequences, the words, the faces — and returns a full clarity report. It takes about six minutes.

From the Commissioner

“Dignity is not something that happens to a person at the end. It is something we build together, over a lifetime, and protect when it matters most.”
